Applications |
Has been used to detect t(1;14)(p32;q11) translocations associated with certain acute T-cell leukemias based on the size of the EcoRI fragment detected. |
Vector |
Construct size (kb): 3.400000095367432 |
Insert |
DNA: genomic Insert lengths(kb): 0.699999988079071 Tissue: acute T-lymphoblastic leukemia DU.528 cell line Gene product: T-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia 1 (NOTE: redefinition of symbol)(T cell lymphoma 5, helix-loop-helix protein tal-1, 34 kDa) [TAL*] |
Insert Size (kb) |
0.700 |
Biosafety Level |
1
Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country. |
Comments |
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--2.6, .72; EcoRI--3.7; HindIII--3.7. Derived from a germ-line fragment that includes what would be the 1p+ translocation breakpoint in the DU.528 cell line. Detects a human genomic germline EcoRI fragment of 17.5 kb. Has been used to detect t(1;14)(p32;q11) translocations associated with certain acute T-cell leukemias based on the size of the EcoRI fragment detected. Detects transcripts of 5.4, 2.6, and 2.2 kb from TAL1 (TCL5). |
